A Major Daytona Development Plan and Your Central Florida Home Search

Avalon Park Daytona is advancing plans for a mixed-use development with 8,800 homes and more than 1 million square feet of commercial space. Those figures describe the planned development—not homes and businesses that are already completed or available.

Although the project is in Daytona, it offers a useful starting point for thinking about a move anywhere in Central Florida, including Clermont and Winter Garden. A community’s long-term vision can be appealing, but your decision should also reflect what works for your daily life today.

When exploring homes, I encourage buyers to look beyond the floor plan. Visit the surrounding area, test the routes you expect to use regularly, and distinguish existing shops and services from those proposed for the future. If you are considering new construction, ask which features are complete and what information is available about future phases.

For sellers and homeowners, a large development announcement is worth following, but it does not establish what a home in Clermont or Winter Garden is worth. Before making a pricing or selling decision, contact me so we can review relevant local information rather than draw conclusions from a project in another city.

My approach starts with listening to your priorities and helping you turn broad possibilities into a focused search. Whether you are buying your first home or preparing to sell, we can discuss the questions that matter to your next move. Alex Santos, Realtor. Brokered By La Rosa Realty. Equal Housing Opportunity.
